Seascape ecology - connecting land, sea and society, call for abstracts
Seascape ecology is the application of landscape ecology to the marine and coastal environment. This conference will focus on the emerging shift towards linking both sides of the coastal margin, and how this can help to restore habitat connectivity and protect coastal and marine systems from environmental degradation.
Presentations are welcome from across science, policy and practice. We encourage submissions from policy makers, consultants, practitioners and researchers. Symposia will include regular 12-minute presentations, followed by a few questions and short 5-minute flash presentations. We also welcome posters, which will be on display throughout the conference, with the opportunity for discussion during the breaks and in a dedicated poster session before the conference dinner on Tuesday.
If you wish to contribute to the conference, please submit a 200 word short by 30 April. In your abstract succinctly describe your contribution, and indicate your preferred symposium. Abstracts should be sent firstname.lastname@example.org
Following abstract acceptance you will be asked to register. You will also be asked to submit an edited abstract and a page of key diagrams or images suitable for the eBook proceedings.
